How To Massage - www.mymassagetips.com - Foot MassageAs, both you and I know, we all love the tender feeling of getting a foot massage. Most of the day is spent walking or standing. We depend on our foot, and we stand on them all day long. They do need some sort of rest, don’t they? The foot massage will release all the pain and ache in feet, through your feet. The foot is also recognized as the best passage way or all stress exits. People feel, releasing all your pains through your feet is the best feeling yet. This massage will always increase ones well-being. The whole principle can be stated with one simple word, reflexology. Now, it is not so important that the above information is true, as long as it does what it has to. The experience can be very soothing and erotic at the same time. Some requirements exist, before one is given a foot massage. The person who will be receiving the treatment, would have to place their feet in some warm water for about fifteen minutes and just relax. Some therapist would add extra substances in the water, such as lemon, salt or oils. It is always a nice touch. The whole process would make the
feet, more soft and obviously more clean. The method to follow is rather simple, and many therapist like to mix up several techniques to yield a different type of experience. The best position would be to have the person lying on their back, this way their feet is pointing upwards. This will make it easier for the therapist to perform the massage.

Ankle Spins: The therapist should hold the bottom heel; in their palms, and use the other hand to hold the top for the feet. Make several rotations in each direction. The right amount would be between ten to twenty spins.

Strokes: This is like pulling a wet slippery piece of string. In this case, the string is the foot. With the palms, the heel must be held tight, and the other hand should be used to stroke right up and down the foot several times. Another method, is using both hands, once one hand reaches the top, the other one should be used to start at the bottom.

Presses: Make to sure to have the heel in the palms, and press into the arch of the first foot. The pressing motion should be directed upwards, towards the toes. Repeat on the other foot. Perform the routine several times for maximum comfort.

Thumb Motion: The foot must be held in the hands like it is a game console, with your thumbs walk up and down the sole of the foot. This is when you think of your thumbs as little feet, walking up and down. Once in a while slight circular motions with the thumbs is good.

The Mix Up: Just be careful and gently rotate, pull, and squeeze the toes. Do it to every toe, three times. You can mix up the routines, just as the name implies.
